Pin & Tessa || A Byron Bay Wedding Film
5 years ago I picked up a camera and decided to film weddings. Naïve, young (sort of,) and in desperate need of a change in my life, I embarked on this industry with no real understanding, but with a strong desire to create story driven video content; I just went for it. I was drawn to this style early but left it behind for a more cinematic approach that BMH has become known for. Today I return to where it all began with a developed skill set, along with the same love for telling a couples story, which has been there since the beginning. I hope you enjoy.
Pin and Tessa embraced my decision to go in a new direction and happily welcomed me to the list of talented wedding vendors. Using the famous Rae’s on Wategos at Byron Bay as their canvas, they created a subtle, yet beautifully stunning wedding celebration for themselves and a small group of their closest friends and family.
It was a real “go with the flow,” no fuss affair and steered away from your traditional style wedding. No bridal party, a bride and groom who walked themselves down the aisle, little desire for a planned photo shoot and a few impromptu thank you speeches. Pin and Tessa left the bells and whistles behind and planned a party to celebrate their love. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about. Oh, and great food and booze, let’s be honest :p
