Angie & Christian || A Sirromet Wedding

I took a trip out to the Sirromet Winery the day before the wedding to touch base with Angelique and familiarise myself with the surroundings. The sun was shining, wallabies were everywhere and the weather forecast said much of the same for the next day. It was brought to my attention that every supplier for their wedding was family. The celebrant, the photographer and Angie herself being the make-up artist. As I helped Angelique and her mother unpack the car and settle in to the beautiful Queenslander on location, I whispered to her, “Am I the only one who’s not family?” Angelique replied, “Don’t worry, Lance, you’re family now” I felt a real warmth to this family and as I arrived the next day and started rolling, I really did feel like one of the family. There was so much love in the air and they welcomed me with open arms. When a family does this, it makes it extremely easy to capture the true essence of the day. I felt like I was actually a part of their celebration rather than just the guy behind the camera. This feeling carried on throughout the day and well into the night as the celebrations continued. Amazing weather, a beautiful ceremony, a perfect sunset, stunning landscapes, crisp wine, absolutely delicious food and a couple who are very much in love. Weddings don’t get much better than this! Take a ride with CJ and Angie and their storybook feature film.

“After our first meeting with Lance, we knew he and his team at Box Media House were the ones we wanted to share our special day with. He not only took the time to view the venue with me the day before our wedding, but we truly felt that he wanted to know about us as a couple and by doing this he was able to capture every significant moment of our day. The time and effort that was put into our wedding video amazes me; Lance would pick moments out of the day that in the excitement of it all, we were not able to take in completely.

So the day we sat down with our family and friends to watch it, we were absolutely awestruck!! I initially didn’t think having a videographer was a necessary part of a wedding until I saw Box Media House’s work; now I see that it is one of the most important parts as we get to re-live the most amazing day of our lives over again and we appreciate this work of art that Lance has created every single time we watch it!

Thank you so much Lance for being a part of our wedding day. You not only were fun to have around, but we truly felt you became a friend to all our guests and it felt like you were part of our family ? If there are any couples out there that are searching for a videographer….Box Media House is the ONLY choice!” – Angelique Stevens, August 2013
